Are you looking for a sign friend? So much is happening in our world with the solar eclipse, natural disasters, wars and rumors of nuclear potential, please consider the Only Way. The bible teaches that things will get worse in our world. Both the Old and New Testament point to two main events centered around The Way, Jesus. First, the coming of Christ the Messiah, when He was born of a virgin and second, His return. We are living in between these two events. We are living in bible times. The King is coming back, are you ready?
I did not come to know the Lord until my late thirties but I distinctly remember being shocked when I began to read the Bible. I discovered that contrary to what the world says, God isn’t in fact unconditional with all things. For example, there is only One Way to Heaven. This is an absolute statement. Jesus is the One Way to the Father. We can’t work our way there or get a pass based on “being good at heart”. This is confusing to someone who has heard society’s version of truth all their life. This means that good people go to hell. This rocked my world and produced a full range of emotions. I had an encounter with the Truth and it didn’t match my own thoughts. Faces of the many people I love came to my mind with a new terrifying perspective. Pain struck my heart. At the same time, a fire in my soul came alive with purpose. None should perish! Jesus wants everyone included in Heaven. Do they know or are they deceived as I was?
Another myth I believed was that “everyone is a child of God.” The Bible is clear that the only way to be in His family is to accept His Son as Lord. In the Bible, in Romans 10:9 we read “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in you heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
This is the ETERNAL “if, then” truth. This is the most important prayer you can say this side of Heaven. So what have you done with this IF friend? We are either for God or against Him. I have chosen to say this prayer out loud to God from my heart to His. I am now His daughter because I have accepted His Son. Won’t you join me in prayer to God. Pray out loud, “Father forgive me for any wrong thinking or acting. I believe that Jesus is your Son, who was crucified, dead and then raised from the dead. I believe Jesus is Lord and I give my life to Him now, in Jesus’ name, amen!”
